Most Disgusting Dairy Queen Around
I attended Dairy Queen May 1/03 and was thoroughly disgusted by the cleanliness of this franchise (or definite lack of).

The counters where they are setting spoons I would be eating off of had dry chocolate, milk and whatever else that had not been wiped off of all night. I had to ask the person waiting on me to wash his hands before preparing my husband's banana split.

This is not an isolated incident. I have emailed head office once where a gentleman named Paul phoned me and now I feel as if he just handled me, talked to various managers and nothing has changed. As much as I love DQ ice-cream, I will never set foot in this restaurant again until I see definite long term change. Diseases come off of money and these people are not being trained to wash their hands before preparing food.

Will Not Be Back Ever
Dairy Queen hires young who have no idea about cleanliness and food. I have yet to see anyone over 20. I watched closely the last time I ordered a hamburger. I could not believe it. Here it is dead and the burgers are microwaved. How disgusting. I have seen food laying on the customers counter for preparing while the staff helps customers. It sits there while customers hover and cough etc... And your staff has no personality. Not a friendly place to eat. I will not be back.    [12 Mar 2004 01:49:19]

Great service
Brought an entire soccer team of 50 people in to this Dairy Queen and we were all treated like royalty. The staff was some of the most cheery I have ever come across, it seems they enjoy their jobs and it truly shows in the service. Two of the children dropped their ice creams, the staff saw this and without even being asked we had two new items brought out to our table. Truly exceptional for a fast food restaurant.

I have been going to this DQ for over 8 yrs on a regular basis, I would say 5 days a week minimum. The staff's attention to detail is just great. When I go in there I feel I am treated like family. When they see me walking in the door they rush to get my food prepared Most of them remember what I get so I don't even have to ask.
The food is always cooked fresh (no cold fries like most fast food places serve). Tables are always clean.
Overall I would give them a 9 out of 10! I would recommend this Dairy Queen to anyone.    [10 Jun 2004 04:20:36]

Great Staff
I've been going to this Dairy Queen now for about four years. I would just like to give a big thank you to the staff in this restaurant.
Over the last year in particular they have been great. It seems like the place is under new management as I have seen a lot of the older slower staff members disappear over the last 1.5 yrs and have been replaced by a much more polite and younger team.    [04 Dec 2004 04:19:00]

I enjoy stopping in for a "mud slide" periodically and recently I ordered a classic cheeseburger. Without exaggeration I can not remember ever eating a worse burger. The meat was flavourless and totally dried out. Yuch! I will never buy another burger from that Langley Dairy Queen again. Will be back for ice cream though.
