Redemption at last
The original owners (Judy & Alan) sold the business a few years back (2000) and it has since changed hands again (2004) but for the better. Big hand-pressed burgers, fish and chips, various Chinese (....with rice & ....with noodles), breakfast. I've just returned to frequent it after hearing about the new owners and it's sooo much better now. prices are cheap (Bacon cheese burger, fries and a can of pop for $5.25. 3 eggs, 3 bacon/sausage, hashbrowns and toast for 3.99.) The menu has fewer items than before but the cooking is simple but it fills you up and does dent the wallet. What more do you want from a "greasy spoon"?    [28 Nov 2004 12:52:40]
