WOW, even better than Mcdonalds
These are top quality burgers, believe me!
I have tried everything from the Burger King Whopper, to the McDonalds Big Mac, and the Wendy's Big Bacon Classic, and this restaurant beat them all!!    [17 Jul 2003 16:14:59]

It was OK.
A lot of people seem to give this place rave reviews, I'm not sure why as it was just OK. There is a lot of variety of toppings to choose from for your burger and the prices are not cheap. If you're in a rush I would not recommend it, the service was friendly, but I found myself waiting for a few minutes before I was even greeted at the door and after I ordered the burger it took over 10 minutes. The burger itself was ok, a small patty, over cooked, almost charcoal. Possibly a bad day for the chef, I don't know. I also ordered mushrooms on my burger, though fresh, there was a very small amount. If you're hungry, make sure you get a double, but after you order a drink (pop) don't expect to come out of there paying less than $10 with tip, much better deals at pubs. In all fairness the home cut fries were VERY delicious though.    [22 May 2004 14:00:41]

Mcdonalds???
How can you compare this place to McDonalds? That's like comparing the Museum of Modern Art to some guy sketching on the sidewalk.

Hamburger Heaven has the - Best - Burgers - Ever! Lots o' meat. Great toppings.

The best part is that you can build your own burger. Pick the patty (beef, chicken or veg), pick your bun and then pick from a big list of toppings (different cheeses, veg, and other bits and pieces). It comes with home fries, salad, or a bit of both.

Or you can pick from a list of 'pre built burgers', but that's not as fun.

They also have a decent (if not high end) drink menu. Various bottled and draft beer and a number of good local wines as well as juice and soda.

Very casual atmosphere, nice outdoor patio in warmer weather.    [26 May 2004 02:18:34]

Best Burger For SURE
Sheesh. I don’t know what to say about the guy who said these were not better than McDonald’s. I have had Burger Heaven several times and I have not had a better burger ever in my 61 years. These guys know how to make the best burgers in the province and beyond.    [14 Feb 2005 18:52:24]

Don't waste your money!
What an awful place! The service was horrible, the food was overpriced. It's just hamburgers, people! We waited nearly 25 minutes for our food; the order was wrong. When we politely complained to the waitress she only took off one pop and seemed to care less about our comments. I will NEVER go back to this dump.    [23 Jun 2005 15:17:24]

Great place and for me.... AWESOME BURGER
Hey,

I just want to say that I love Burger Heaven. Why? I was born and raised in New West, so I love the atmosphere. It’s kind of chill with plants all over and retro pictures of people that have gone there. The staff is great; I mean come on, we are not talking about Fine Dining here. They do their thing, really friendly and laid back and get you just what you want. I’m a veggie and I have got to say their Veggie Burger is the best I have ever had. With a beer and some of the home fries it’s an easy dinner out but yes, that guy earlier was correct: It is not cheap. Don’t even expect McDonald’s or fast food quality or price, because it’s not You sit down, order, socialize a bit, then have a really good meal with a beer. This is perfect for me! And hey, I don’t mind spending 10 - 15 bucks for somewhere I can chill like Burger Heaven and not be rushed out and prompted to get onto the next customer. Don’t go here if you want fast food or exquisite fine dining, but definitely go here if you like great food, good people, and a laid back cozy atmosphere.

My kind of place! :-)    [26 Aug 2005 21:33:36]

Disappointed
Having heard so much about Burger Heaven, I finally went. Not sure what all the hype was about. For crying out loud, it was a burger and fries. Have to admit the fries were the best part. Burger patty was nothing outstanding. Two strips of bacon, cheese and a couple of mushrooms. The atmosphere, I have to admit is pretty cool but the food, well, like I said it was a burger and it was OK and two burgers, fries and two Pepsis are not worth $35.00. I won't be running back there anytime soon. Yikes, I thought White Spot was expensive. At least there, you get a great unique sauce and a side of coleslaw.    [21 Jan 2006 13:39:05]

Sorry excuse for a business
I enjoy trying new places each time I go out and I have to say this has been my worst experience of all time. We politely waited over 40 minutes for our meal while people that arrived well after us were served their food. I had no choice but to ask the waitress that was avoiding eye contact if our order was missed. She just said "I don't know, the orders come out as they are placed." Being the laid back, relaxed person I am I let it go and decided to wait it out. At that point, the people that arrived 15 minutes earlier were severed their food. The waitress gave a quick glance but provided no explanation. I really can't believe how poor the service was. I’ve never done it before, but had no choice but to leave. I will never go back and discourage as many people as possible from going there. Spend your money where people will appreciate it.    [04 May 2006 04:11:53]
