Great Food and Service I normally have "take-out" from this restaurant but decided to take some out-of-town family members to sit in and have fish and chips. The food was great -- lightly breaded halibut fish, huge prawns. Even my 6 yr. old (who's a very picky eater) ate all her portion of fish and chips. The price was very reasonable (5 of us ate for 62.00). Best of all, the service was fast, friendly and we were well looked after. I think I'll make Cockney Kings my new favourite place to dine. I was Surprised at their Attitude Me and my family (about 15 people) went for fish and chips as I had heard that they are good. I must say I was disappointed overall. Firstly they made us wait for an hour before accommodating us. We tried to make reservations before hand and this they refused flatly. After we finally got down to eating the service was very bad and in the middle of all of us still eating they closed the kitchen and didn’t even ask us whether we wanted to order anything more.
I felt as if overall we were the target of racial discrimination. I am surprised that a customer who is bringing so much business to a restaurant can be treated so coldly. It was a sad experience and I am sure none of us will be going there anymore. In comparison I must say another restaurant though much smaller Mr. Pickwich treats its customers with a lot of respect and very courteous staff. [29 Sep 2004 03:32:21]

Been going for years.... Let me just say that this restaurant has an extensive and well liked history by me and a number of both family and friends.
The family atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the more than reasonable prices (check out an "all you can eat" Monday through Wednesday night for under $10 per person) are unbelievable.
Please at least give it a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed. [04 Feb 2005 00:56:09]

First Visit... The First Of Many... We spotted this restaurant quite by chance and decided with me being a UK gal that we had to give it a try to see how they compared with Fish N Chips back "home"
They certainly lived up to my expectations and more. The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I shall be going back for more and more. [16 Sep 2005 01:19:34]
