Speedy service. You know the food is good when the restaurant seems always busy. Friendly waitresses and good food. Their hot chocolates are very tasty and priced right. It is great to have a nice family restaurant with decent prices in this small town.    [02 Jan 2004 23:17:36]

Pleasant

Horrible Service
I decided to go to this restaurant as we were driving through Canada. It was lunch time. I had the Baron of Beef. I waited a long time for service. The waitress was wearing bedroom slippers. Not friendly at all! Our order was taken however she went outside in the back to smoke. I went out to tell her we waited for our meal and thought it was sitting under the heat lamp. I waited another five minutes when our food came. It was cold and the meat was tough and the bread soggy. I looked for the waitress again and found her outside again asking if we could have more coffee. She seemed again to be insulted. We just left the cold food not worth eating not leaving a tip. As we left I heard the waitress mention we were cheap. The restroom was dirty only having one, I waited until I fill up my gas to use that one. I had been to the same restaurant about 7 years past and the food was good with good service. The restaurant has really gone downhill and I would not recommend it. Servers are just not friendly or seems to care about patrons.    [06 Mar 2009 18:25:20]
