Great Food Better than fast food but still fast. Not quite authentic but an excellent spot for lunch. [06 Jun 2003 15:08:11]

Wow The food here is very good, no complaints at all. What really stood out was the service. Very friendly and outgoing staff, they really enjoy doing what they're doing. I was very impressed. I understand this little taco shop has been here for nearly 20 years! Wow! [10 Apr 2004 23:42:10]

A PG Institution A fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. There is one very important thing that sets Ginger and the crew above many other restaurants -- customer service! Many people have forgotten the importance of customer service, happily that is not the case at Amigo's.
I go about half as much as I want to and a quarter as much as I should. [18 Dec 2004 03:16:39]

A PG Favourite I love this place. The service is very friendly, the prices very good and the food is great. It's not authentic Mexican, but the ingredients are fresh and tasty. [26 Feb 2005 15:34:04]

Hope they always stick around! Amigo's is a simple but fabulous place to eat a great lunch at a great price. True, the dishes are not quite authentic Mexican, but the ingredients are so fresh and tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed; You can sit in the main area in the sun or cozy up in the back with your lunch date.
Oh, and most people don't know that they have the best frozen yogurt in town. They make it fresh for you right when you order it. It is absolutely delicious. (You can pay for your frozen yogurt when you buy your lunch and then just show them your receipt when you're ready to have it -- they'll glady make it for you when you want it.) a prince george GEM This little place has got to be Prince Georges best kept secret. In no way "fine dining" but the bang for the buck is unbeatable, customer service is fantastic (which is more than I can say for most establishments in PG), and the atmosphere is really....different.
note : closes at 6pm so make sure you get there early 11am-1pm weekdays has a mad lunch rush - I always go down around 2ish and its quiet! [20 May 2006 22:14:41]

New Owners? Most of the usual staff seem to be gone and I've been told the restaurant was sold a few months ago. Sadly, the quality of the food has suffered. The last few times we've gone, there have been problems like cold food (half-melted cheese in fajitas, cold meat) and missing ingredients. My friend's taco salad last week was made with salad that seemed to have frozen at some point. It was dark and soggy.
We used to love this place (I even wrote the May 28 2005 review) and really hope it will improve soon. [27 Jan 2007 04:22:14]

Awesome I have gone to this restaurant since I was around 10 years old. I live in Alberta now but I make sure to stop in and enjoy the great food and service whenever I'm in PG. [30 May 2007 17:00:58]

Just average Food is rather bland, not very flavourful and dull. Could be better if they put away the microwave and bring out ovens. [15 Nov 2007 14:42:28]
