Great Food and Atmosphere in Prince George
The atmosphere is similar to other city restaurants I've been to. Great jazz, very affordable and great food make this my first choice in Prince George!    [13 Mar 2005 21:55:01]

Casual but Classy
I always enjoy myself when I go to Cimo. I've tried several of their pasta dishes and they've all been delicious. The atmosphere can be quite loud at times given the hall-like layout, but you'll still be able to understand your dining companions. The colours are rich and pleasing to the eye and I always feel relaxed when I'm there. One thing that's a bit annoying is their parking. I would highly suggest parking on the street across from the Credit Union because their parking lot in front is difficult to maneuver around in.

Some men I've gone with have complained that the portions are not big enough but I find that they are just right. Personally, I'd rather get a reasonable portion of high-quality, tasty food instead of a "Super-Sized" portion of mediocre food.    [14 May 2005 04:45:08]

Great Pasta
Stopped in while flying through and was sure glad we did. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive and the two past dishes we had were superb!    [11 Jul 2005 15:47:52]

Best in PG
Wayne Kitchen is brilliant. He does homemade pasta and fish better than anyone. His flavours are subtle and he lets fresh food speak for itself. Saturday seafood nights are great. And, now I hear Raghu Lokanathan will be playing Fridays 9-11 -- he is a great musician.    [10 Dec 2005 01:56:20]

Still a Great Place
I went to Cimo Mediterranean Grill with some friends for lunch in mid-December and it was great. I hadn't been there for many months and I had forgotten just how flavourful and delicious their pasta dishes were. The restaurant was packed for the lunch rush but we had great service. Our meals arrived within 10 minutes and the hostess refilled my glass 4 times, without my having to ask and before it was ever empty.

Bravo to all the staff, in the kitchen and on the frontline. We had an excellent time. Oh, and we loved the simple but beautiful Christmas decorations.    [28 Dec 2005 02:51:14]

Amazing Waitresses, Food's Good Too
Really enjoyable atmosphere. The only place in Prince George that has a comfortable classy feel to it that doesn't eat through your wallet. Pasta nights on Wednesday was an ingenious idea. Did I mention the waitresses?    [14 Apr 2006 21:25:24]

Wheres the Shrimp?
First off, some of the tables are way too close together; when we were first seated, we were bumping elbows with another couple. After being moved, we ordered calamari, which was good. For the main meal we ordered the pasta; now this is where the night went downhill. After receiving my "shrimp" pasta I was perplexed by the size of the shrimp. They were the same kind you would get out of a can from superstore. Also the whole dish was very plain tasting. It was a mass of linguine with a few chunks of tomato and some petite shrimp for like $14 bucks! I mean, come on. Pasta is egg and flour, woohoo. Expensive! Oh, I forgot salty. Yowza!
Honestly, I would never go back.    [17 Aug 2006 02:10:28]

Where's the Service?
I have been to Cimo's several times over this past summer. The first time I went to Cimo's I had ok service and thought the food was alright. Every time after the first visit I found the service to be horrible.

I later suggested to have our crew from work go to Cimo's for dinner and a meeting. The service was terrible we waited for a long time to even get our first round of drinks. When we finally did get our food only 50 percent of us was satisfied with it. Needless to say we wont be doing any more meetings there.

I decided to give Cimo's another chance the other day. We waited for about 15 minutes before anyone even approached us for drinks. The waitress then took another several minutes to come back to take our order, at this time I had to ask what the special was as she didn't bother to tell us. When she realized that I was not impressed with her service all I got was attitude. To top this off. My salmon was skunky tasting and was a total turn off.

I don't give bad reviews unless its totally deserved and in this case, it certainly is. I expect superior service when I am paying 16 dollars a plate and above.    [04 Sep 2006 21:09:25]

Yeah Not so Much
This was my first time there and my boyfriend's second time; needless to say we won't be going back. He had something of a seafood concoction that ended up being a few bits of seafood in a can of tomato soup. (not to mention dirt in the clams). It is a good thing his meal came with bread because the portion was big enough to feed a mouse. I had the stuffed chicken, merely ok. Needless to say we didn't stick around for dessert; I was afraid to. I was not crazy about the ambiance either. If I wanted to sit that close to another couple I would have gone with friends.    [15 Oct 2006 01:26:03]
