Very Disappointing
We went to Joey's Only for the all you can eat shrimp deal, but it should be called, all you can eat shrimp deal if you could get some service. We got to the Joeys about 5:30pm for supper and received our first plate of food with in 10 min and they were tasty I have to admit.

This is when the trouble started we did not ONCE get asked if we wanted more shrimp, drink or even how everything was going. We had to wave down our waitress every time and then wait a minimum of 15 min in between servings of shrimp. We actually had to leave before we got our last order brought out to us because it was just taking too long for them to get our food out to us. The Joey's we went to was busy but they had four people on the floor serving and it's a very, very small restaurant. I'm sure this is not every Joey's only because we were recommended to go and have this all the shrimp you can eat deal from a friend that lives in Edmonton. I was telling our friend about the service we received and she was shocked. She said that when they went you were not even done your first plate and the waitress was asking if they could get you some more shrimp. We all feel ripped off at $20.00 per person, we expected much more from Joey's Only Restaurant. I know that my group of five were very disappointed with Joey's and do not plan on returning to this Joey's Only again.    [01 Apr 2004 19:46:08]
