Overpriced food bad service
The Bread Garden located on Commerce Parkway in the Business Park has consistently delivered poor service. Their orders are made in haste, without a smile or shred of warmth to their customer, who is clearly valued only as a dollar income to them. I will only visit their establishment if desperate in the morning. I have been disappointed with every order I have had. My order this morning was for an omlette with sourdough toast. The omlette was tasteless and rubbery and the toast dry and difficult to chew because it hadn't been buttered. The meal was unsatisfactory and overprice; for $4 they could have at least buttered the toast. The Bread Garden is the only alternate choice in the area for morning service which is extremely fortunate for the family who run it. When clients ask where to go for lunch in the area, I always tell them my opinion and general experience with the Bread Garden.    [17 Oct 2007 11:34:30]

I agree wholeheartedly with the first reviewer's opinion.
I do have to commend the workers on their keeping the place clean though. That's about the only positive thing I can think to say.
The service is curt, the food quite unpalatable.
When I first encountered Bread Garden I thought the concept was quite good, but the fact that they never come up with new dishes, quality of the food is poor, as well as the food being generally overpriced really killed my appetite. In addition, the coffee is mediocre and some specialty drinks (I've had the matcha and chai lattes) are the worst I've EVER had from ANY cafe. Tsk tsk.
Last but not least, they have no wireless from 10 am to 3:30 pm for some odd and unexplainable reason. At least the others BGs have no limit wireless. Jeeze!    [20 Nov 2007 19:20:30]
