Over priced Nice view. Over priced food and rude waiters. Maybe worth the try once, but not a second time round. [15 Oct 2004 16:13:10]

Beacon Landing Bar and Grill made my stay in Victoria/Sidney wonderful. My family and I enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Service was great and the food was even better. Great atmosphere to hang out and reminisce. [19 Oct 2004 13:37:06]

THE BEST Perfect ambiance on the waterfront , especially if you love the ocean view. Boaters can even anchor out front , dingy to the beach , walk up a few stairs and you are there. The food , beer and service was the best ever..don't miss out [16 Dec 2004 13:10:55]

Love the new brunch menu My friend and I had the french toast and frittata. It was great, so many nice touches. The service was good too, very helpful and attentive. I will go back for sure. I loved the hearts that dressed up the bar for Valentines day, with the ribbons. Everthing is nice and new. Thanks!!! [07 Feb 2005 23:50:11]

not worth the gas money I've heard a few people talk about the great seafood restaurants in Sidney. I don't think Beacon landing was one of them. The view is breathtaking, however the food is slow, bland, and over priced. [04 May 2005 14:09:43]

The best restaurant EVER This restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable. Every seat in the restaurant has a view out the window, even if you aren't sitting smack against it. Great scenic views for stormwatching in the winter or watching the sailboats in the summer. Lovely decor! [24 Sep 2005 01:24:29]

From great to poor. When my wife and I went to Beacon Landing in June for my birthday the food and service was second to none. However, on a return visit in September for our anniversary the food was average but the service and hospitality had something to be desired. When I called to complain to the manager, she basically said the onus was on us, the customer, to make sure we had impressive service and she (the manager) was not willing to do anything to compensate. This last visit lefta real bad taste in my mouth and we'll think twice before returning again. [27 Sep 2005 01:36:12]

Best restaurant in Sidney Good price on the food, and the food explodes with flavour. This was definately one of my favorite restaurants in (near) Victoria. [04 Oct 2005 13:17:56]

They served us uncooked chicken fingers I was very disappointed. The appetizer wasn't very tasty. To make things worse - our son received his chicken fingers and they were frozen inside. [30 Dec 2005 20:39:54]
