large servings of unremarkable bland food with a view Huge servings.. Place had been great for couple of years of monthly attendance until just tonight.. Overkill on purple onions... pushing the liquor menu like never before... caesar salad with no garlic!! you would think the place just sold, the change was so terribly remarkable. Fair Prices Keep Customers Happy This is a great place to watch the airplanes take off as the location of this "fair-deal" restaurant is literally at the end of the run-way.
Lunch prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the more-than adequate portions. Guaranteeing that you will not leave here hungry.
A popular place for locals, this "best kept secret" is a 10 minute walk from the airport terminal. If you have time to kill while waiting around at the Victoria International Airport, this is a terrific place to grab a bite without paying those overinflated prices for mediocre food at the airport cafeteria.
With fantastic "comfort food", friendly staff and reasonable prices, this will become your favorite place for filling your tummy either before or after your flight.

Always been a favourite! This is my favourite place to eat. I've been going there for 7 years. The burgers are the best in Victoria. Their Sunday night roast beef dinner is fantastic (reservations needed) and their curries are a hot seller,(pun intended). For a quick lunch, any of their soups are sure to warm your tummy and leave you wanting more. Sure, the view is terrific too! Great food and very resonable prices. Might just go there for breakfast today!
Like any place, it may have its off night, however, they are few and far between. The owner, Wally, is very receptive to suggestions and ideas from his customers and does his best to make them happen. [26 Sep 2004 11:09:35]

Spitfire Grill 2007 Spitfire Grill has had a recent makeover. What was a kid friendly place is now more adult oriented. Sometimes the service is terrible, you might as well serve yourself. Food is consistently average with above average portions. I dare you to try eating their spitfire burger. Prices are $ to $$. Marvelous place to take your out of town guests. [13 Dec 2007 19:45:04]

Big Disappointment for dinner Had dinner here on Mar 14/08. The dinner crowd had gone so it wasn't overly busy. We ordered Spitfire Burgers $12 and opted for onion rings and yam fries, an extra $2 each. The burgers came open faced and lukewarm and also missing the topping of bacon and mushrooms! The onion rings were cold as well as the yam fries. The burgers were sent back for the toppings and the kitchen made up a small portion of new yam fries, finally served hot but still limp and soggy! There was no garnish on the plates, very poor for $14 hamburgers. The waitress seemed very undisturbed about our problems citing the excuse of a new cook. [14 Mar 2008 22:27:08]

Great Place My wife & I and a couple of friends went there last Sunday, from the moment we walked into the restaurant we were treated so well. The Sunday night special (Roast beef dinner) was fantastic. The service was great. I cannot say enough about this place. The prices were just perfect; in fact, it was much cheaper than I thought. That was my 1st time there, but sure will not be the last time. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks to all the staff of the Spitfire Grill. [24 Apr 2008 17:42:16]
