You Won't Be Dissappointed
My wife and I discovered this restaurant before we moved to Alberta. The food, service and prices are so great that we come out once or twice a year to eat here (oh and to see the family too). For the amount of food you receive, the menu seems underpriced!    [25 Jun 2004 12:39:31]

GREAT food unmatched by its price!
One of my favorite restaurants in the lower mainland. I have never been disappointed with the food, and the service is always excellent (except the 1 and 1/2 wait on Valentine's Day).

Terrible in every way
I've lived in Surrey for 15 years, tried Anastasia Sunday night (Daughter's Birthday dinner), and from the absolutely reprehensible service to the shoddy food quality (the pasta dishes we left basically uneaten, I have cooked far better things from a can at home; the lamb SO overdone I ate less than one piece). The restaurant had nine people inside when we arrived - it took 25 minutes to get my drinks..almost one hour between appy and the main course...my daughter's food arriving after my wife and I had eaten...less than stellar customer service, condescending at best from the waitress, rude at the worst. The price seemed not unreasonable, assuming we were served something one would actually want to eat! I finally got up to leave, and tried to explain my displeasure to a senior staff lady, who told me there was no way it could have been that bad...and then did not listen to me when I wanted to just pay my bill and leave...just stood there with a 'whatever' attitude. Never, never will we eat there again, especially would not recommend for clients/ friends or anyone else. Truly a disheartining experience. Sad.    [21 Feb 2005 16:40:32]

Will Visit More Often.
There were 10 of us at the table and everyone enjoyed their dinners immensely. Huge portions, exemplary service, delightful venue, affordable prices...one of Surrey's best restaurants for sure. It must be doing something right to be so busy in the less-than-favourable location it's been at for years and years. Very bad restuarant
We moved to Surrey about 3 years ago and as my wife and I both are Greek food lovers, we had to try this.
We have gone there at least once every 6 months and each time it has been a disappointment.
One time the lamb was over done and one time we were served beef instead of chicken.
When we pointed that out to the manager, she was most disrespectful and flatly denied it. I can tell you for sure that that wasn't chicken that was served to us!
Two weeks ago we went in yet again and this time the meat was raw and when we pointed it out to the waitress and she said,"Oh you should have told me before to have the meat cooked well done. Normally we serve it like this."
Now tell me in which Greek restaurant do we actually tell we want the Souvlaki well done, rare, medium or what have you.
Bad service or bad food four times out of four.
We have given up and will try out other Greek places. It is a pity because we just live two blocks away.
