Why Do People Like this Place?
I don't know why so many people in Terrace like Don Diego's. Sure, their menu is a bit different from the average diner or restaraunt. They do use fresh ingredients, but you'll be lucky if you get what you want off the menu. Because of their lack of organization the restaraunt has run out of food countless times that I have been there. The last straw was the very poor service I received on my last visit. Not only did members of our table not get to choose their dish of choice, but the server didn't inform us of substitutions, nor did she attend to our table. Our drinks were terrible and while the food was alright, the overall visit left a sour taste in my mouth. I won't be returning for seconds.    [23 May 2007 12:32:12]

Good food GREAT dessert
The food is great, I find you get more for your dollar if you go for Dinner than you do if you go for Lunch. Dinner starts with complimentary tortilla chips and homemade salsa. I always get the chicken enchilladas (I think a lot of people do) and MAKE SURE YOU GET DESSERT. One time I had a piece of Lemon Blueberry Torte and ended up buying the rest of it and taking it home with me. Only flaw is that it gets really busy and there isn't a lot of room, so you are often very close to the other diners.    [03 Aug 2007 14:53:29]
