Great Place To Be Eclectic mix of people, super friendly staff and scrumptous-always-full-of-surprises menu.... [27 Apr 2006 16:32:30]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: Any dish is great, but especially the Vegetable Curry and the carrot cake - not to forget the authentic french Cafe au Lait!

Where it is at Great People, great food and great atmosphere. Canadian culture at its best. [27 Jun 2007 19:00:56]

Sometimes I find this coffee shop extremely hit or miss. The barristas aren't trained too well and it really depends on which staff is on the bar for the quality of coffee you will receive. The is usually pretty good if it is fresh, otherwise you are looking at "nuked" food that just ain't that great. [11 Jul 2007 17:19:59]

It really depends This is a great looking place with a lot of comfy places to sit. But it may as well be an empty room as far as the staff are concerned. It's a strange day when I'm recognized within a minute of walking up to the counter, even if I'm the only customer and the employee is standing right there. Great potential, but the staff need to wake up. [18 Mar 2008 17:17:03]

Great Coffee and Food If you want the best coffee in Terrace you have to look no further, not to mention great food too. Friday Sushi is a can't miss event, too bad it is only one day a week. Butter Chicken is also excellent on any other day of the week. [13 May 2008 02:48:54]

Never Had a Good Meal I hate the food at this place. Too bad because I was under the impression that when new owners took over that the menu would have some quality.
The staff still don't know what is in their dishes. I've never had a good bowl of soup and the food is waaaaay overpriced! The sandwiches are made with cheap deli-meat and a wilted salad for the side.. not worth the $$$. [23 Jun 2008 13:42:18]

Good sandwiches and deli meat I don't get anonymous I've had the sandwiches and they are really good. And since I've seen the "Freybe" truck making deliveries I don't think it is cheap deli meat. [28 Jun 2008 15:56:06]

Dry Carrot Cake Had an out of town guest come to the cafe. The service sucked. The carrot cake was a dried out piece of garbage that had stood on the shelf for a week or more uncovered. This will be my last visit to this place unless new owners take over and add some class to the place. [08 Sep 2008 20:37:44]

Smiling face and a wave good bye! This coffee shop is one of the best shops I've been too. I've lived in Florida and became quite a 'coffeerat and spent most of my free time exploring different coffee shops. And moving back to Terrace I wasn't expecting to be impressed by any coffee shop. BUT, then I came to the Elephant's Ear! I was blown away. The staff are super friendly, and rarely forget a face. It's a very personable coffee shop. All the staff look happy to be there, and they make the stay more enjoyable. The coffee is great, and the dishes are glorious... And I can't get over how friendly the staff are. Slow and Dry Carrot Cake Went there for carrot cake and a piece of pie. The carrot cake was dried out like it had stood there for a month with out a covering on it. The staff was slow and mentally incapable of any fast efficient service to the customer. I will not be going back to this place for a very long time! [15 Oct 2008 01:02:09]
