Classy, great food, great value
There are a number of high-end restaurants in the Ucluelet/Tofino area, and we tried lots of them. This one gave us the best value for our money. A talented cook in our party said the scallops were the best he had ever had, which is a pretty big complement. He was going to go home and see if he could re-create the recipe in his own kitchen. I had a very fine salmon dinner - absolutely everything done to perfection. For me the best part was the goat cheese cheesecake with rhubarb compote. Yum! It's been a few months since our meal at the Boat Basin, and I am still dreaming about this dessert. Even though we live a fair distance from this place, we might make the trip again just so we can eat at the Boat Basin.
