Excellent Food
I have to say the pasta is wonderful and delicious. I took the time to talk to the chef, I believe his name was Bryce. He is the head chef and has no errors in the art of excellent food preperations. You want pasta go to 5th Street Grill.    [26 Sep 2003 23:35:22]

Prime Rib
I haven't been there in a while, maybe about 4 years since I don't live on the island anymore. But I still remember the prime rib this place served up -- unbelievable! From what I hear from my sister, she still tells me it's great!    [20 Sep 2004 21:55:04]

great food, great prices
i've had almost everything on the menu, and always enjoy my meal. the kalamari is hte best i've had. the pizza is also very good. the prices are good - 5, 10, or 15 dollars. the only thing is the menu rarely changes. it's also a great place to go for a beer. it can get packed on the weekends, but the service is still pretty decent.    [25 Apr 2005 19:56:56]

Best of Victoria
5th Street is one of the best restaurants in Victoria, in food quality and bang for your buck. The daily specials are innovative, like a chicken burger with strawberries and brie. Having tried a number of the menu items I can't complain about any of them. The 5th Street secret is that the half chicken is only $5 on the 5th of every month but you have to ask for the $5 chicken.    [31 May 2005 15:33:21]

Great Place
I have lived down the road for over a year and finally went for dinner last night. I can't believe I have been missing out all this time! I am very picky and don't really like trying new places. The place was great, and the choice between the restaurant or bar is nice. The food was great. It was a Saturday night, pretty busy and service was still pretty good. Very reasonable prices too. Helps when you head just a few blocks out of downtown.    [19 Nov 2006 14:13:35]

Terrible
Awful service and rude wait staff.

2 hours to eat, the staff ignored the party and the food was cold and over cooked. Food only arrived after we got up and asked the server and the chef what was going on. The 10 of us there will never set foot in the place again. They did not cut us a deal on the meal either.    [27 Aug 2007 16:22:05]

Excellent Food. Terrible Service.
First off, I have to say the prices our absolutely fantastic and the food equally so. The service, on the other hand, is sad at best. My boyfriend and I sat for over 40 minutes waiting for our burgers, all the while being ignored by our waitress. Even still worth the wait for the food.    [07 Nov 2007 18:41:46]
