Fabulous Food
Great fish and chips, burgers, chowder, salads and melts. Quite friendly service. Try the Barb's Burger with bacon mushrooms and cheese on it. Or fro something lighter, ask for the cajun salmon burger, its not on the menu anymore, but they'll make it for you if you ask.    [23 Jan 2005 06:42:03]

don't waste your time or money
I agree, Barb's was once "the best" but things have definately changed. The fish and chips I had yesterday were something I'd expect to get at McDonalds, so I should get them at a McDonalds price. Yuck!    [04 Jul 2005 12:35:37]

It stinks
When I pay almost 15 dollars to eat fish and chips off of a paper plate I expect perfection. I was very disappointed with the skimpy portions, the raw fries and soggy fish. No thanks.    [12 May 2006 03:15:51]

Bad

So sad
Barbs is under new management. The special is "puffer" fish, a pinky sized portion of fish with an arm sized portion of greasy batter. Go for a coffee and people watching but eat somewhere.    [03 Nov 2007 11:20:20]
