Best Fish & Chips in White Rock
There are a hundred places to get fish & chips along the White Rock beach - and lots of them are good. But why get good when you can have the best?

It's a mom & pop operation that has been there for a long time. The owners are usually there and run a tight ship. They hire quality staff and have little turn-over.

Food quality is first rate and portions are whale sized. Prices are bit above average but it is GOOD Value.

I live in W.R. and have tried most of the competition - this is the winner.    [02 Jan 2005 17:09:47]

I was disappointed
For years I had heard about Moby Dicks, a fish and chips shop on White Rock beach. However when I finally sampled it I found the fish to be chewy and the batter to be thick, greasy and undercooked. The fries were so overdone they were almost black, not the golden fries you would expect, like they had been previously cooked and then reheated. The restaurant was great and service was wonderful, too bad the quality just isn't there. Makes you wonder what the hype is about.    [11 Aug 2006 19:52:02]

Mmmm Good
Our family has been here many times--whenever we visit White Rock on a sunny day. The room is tight, kind of like eating in an elevator, but the food is great, the portions are huge, and the people are always friendly and courteous.

Watch your head when you go to the bathroom...    [22 Oct 2006 16:23:29]

I drive over 400 for Moby's!!!!!
Oh ya! The best Fish and Chips this side of the Pacific! Wait... no, better than good old England, sorry about that you fine English men... but it is. It is very homey, friendly and the portions are huge and the establishment has history. No other place will do.    [12 Feb 2007 18:54:26]
