Oscar's Rocks!
My memories of Oscar's goes back to when I was a kid and we would make the "trip" into the city from Selkirk. My father (who worked in Winnipeg) would often stop by Oscar's in the North end and pick up corned beef sandwiches for us. When we'd go to "the city" the big event was going to Oscar's. They still haven't lost their touch and we still make the trip to Hargrave to have a loaded sandwich. They are also a supporter of Shakespeare in the Ruins and I commend them for their community spirit. It's one of the many reasons people keep supporting them. They are salt of the earth citizens.
