I have been to Boomerang's about 100 times. I have only ever tried 1 thing because I'm hooked and don't wish to change. the steak is the best in the world and the bloomin' onion. I don't like the onion rings, I'd rather have the fried french onions back please. It's way too loud in there but I understand it's the ambiance and it won't change. Like Slow Service and Waitresses Who Don't Smile?
My husband and I had a really disappointing experience at Boomerangs in Moncton. We arrived at about 6 pm on a Saturday and sat at a very small booth near the bar. There were two bigger booths across from us being cleaned so we asked if we could have one. Our waitress said they were for parties of 4 so we ended up staying put.

We ordered drinks (the Caesars were awesome) and watched as a party of 2 were seated in the booth we'd wanted. We decided to go for pub style and ordered wings and nachos. A family next to us arrived, ordered, ate and had their cheque by the time our food even got to us. We ended up waiting 50 minutes for nachos and wings!

The waitress wasn't friendly at all and the food was just mediocre. What put the icing on the cake was that I sent an e-mail via the Boomerang's website so they'd know how disappointed we were and no-one even bothered to respond.    [01 Mar 2004 20:35:56]

Bad Service
Me and my boyfriend went there for our anniversary. We reserved for 2. We arrived there, no table left, told them we had a reservation, they laughed! They sat us at the bar and they forgot us there for about an hour and a half!    [22 Jul 2004 14:19:13]

Very bad experience last Saturday evening. The waitress was extremely rude and curt and not at all friendly. We waited 1 hr. and 40 minutes for our food and no apology given - the table next to us said the same thing about the same waitress and never in my life have I not left a tip, but I could not leave her one.    [05 Oct 2004 14:13:40]

Don't bring a crowd!
We were a group of 16 with a reservation for 7pm...we only got serve food at 9h20! The food was good...but not worth the wait. We had two birthday at our table! Bad way to start the night. Not so great
We ate at Boomerangs a few years back in Moncton & it was excellent.... so when visiting again on Sunday we thought it would be the ideal spot.... Not so, the service was so slow, and the waitress couldn't have cared less... we waited 40 minutes before the waitress came to take our order then another 40 before our dinners came.    [23 May 2005 09:46:02]

Love it!!
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. You have to pick your places, and that one is most certainly mine. I enjoy the ambiance, the loud, the laughs, the T.V., the drop dead waiters! I never leave hungry
My wife and I enjoy Boomerangs a couple of times a year every year. The food is alway excellent and the environment is comfortable. I am 6"1" and 250 lbs and I have never once left hungry or without left overs. My only concern would be the staffing, pay more attention to your customers.    [01 Mar 2006 11:24:08]
