Poor Service I own a business in Oromocto and frequently visit this drive thru. I have been more than dissatisfied with the service at this location on many occasions but the recent service has compelled me to write this complaint!
On May 30th I entered the drive thru at 8:35 with 2 cars ahead of me. I reached the order stand at 8:51 and was told to wait a moment. 3 minutes later I ordered. I waited another 3 minutes to give my $ (only one window was open). At 9:02 I finally received my order (and there was no ketchup or napkin with it). I was furious.
This service is extremely poor. I own a business in this town and I'm sure if I gave my customers the same service, they would never return. On previous occasions I have received a hamburger without the patty, my husband has received a chicken sandwich so hard that it must have been 2 hours old (after waiting in the drive thru space for it because they said they were making him a new one) and recently I brought my children in the restaurant where I heard the entire life stories of several employees as I waited in line; several of their friends were hanging out to talk with them. At one point I had to distract my children because the details were a bit to mature for their ears.
I really believe the manager of this location needs to crack down on the cavalier attitude displayed by many of the employees. [05 Jun 2003 20:43:21]

Poor Service On several occasions I have visited this restaurant on Macdonald Ave in Oromocto and have been dissatisfied with the customer service. I attended a birthday party in Nov 2004 which was supposed to begin at 2:00 in the afternoon nothing was set up or organized and the staff wasn't sure who was even elected in charge of the party to begin with. As well they had three other birthday parties going on at the same time, leaving no tables for our party. Once they figured out who was in charge and upon waiting approx an hour, the lady having the party decided it was time for set up of the tables and ordering of the kids food. We set up the tables our selves and pushed tables together as best we could to get something done for 10 kids waiting and hungry. The food took about 45 minutes and the party finally got started after about an hour and 45 minutes.
On another occasion in February 2005 in which ordering a turkey blt sub sandwich through the drive tru. After making the trip home noticed the blt was with out bacon and tomato. Upon going back to the restaurant the staff manager said "oh we are out of tomato since about an hour". Very poor customer service! The resaturant on both occasions was filthy, tables were cluttered together with left over food on them, the ones without food were left unclean and the floors were disgusting with mud. I think overall that the manager of this restuarant should be aware of sterilization in a eating area, and better control her staff. [27 Feb 2005 12:47:51]

Service STILL poor Oct. 2, 2005 my daugher was playing a high school sport in Oromocto and we went through the McDonald's drive-thru before going back to Fredericton. We thought she would get to eat more quickly that way, as she shortly had another sport to attend. We were SO wrong. We could have driven to Fredericton and back to Oromocto in the time it took to sit in the drive-thru line up! We sat in that line up for 28 minutes. A solid 18 minutes was spent as the second car in line from the window, after ordering! All four cars turned their engines off, we were all sitting there so long. No reason was given for this, no apologies offered--we were given scowls when we complained about the poor service. We were given small pops instead of medium ones (out of medium cups we were told--any other McDonald's would have thrown in a large for the price of a medium for the inconvenience). We didn't get the ketchup we asked for, nor did we get the dipping sauce for the chicken selects. It will be a long time before I bother with that McDonald's, if ever. [02 Oct 2005 20:21:41]

February 2007 Drive Thru still very poor Heading home to Nova Scotia we pulled into the Oromocto fast food area at 9:00 am.
After going through the Tim Horton's drive thru to get coffee, e specific detour was made into the McDonald's Drive Thru to get a Sausage and Egg McMuffin as my boyfriend prefers McDonald's version to the Tim Horton's version.
Imagine his surprise, when he unwrapped his food and there was NO EGG! Too late to turn back as we were already on the limited access hiway by then.
I could understand if they had missed the sausage as there is an Egg McMuffin - but as far as I'm aware there is no McMuffin that doesn't include the egg!!!
If this simple order can't be delivered accurately it truly makes me wonder what else is inaccurately being done at this location! YUCK!!!!! [09 Feb 2007 12:58:44]
