Overall Service Unacceptable
Nov. 21, 2003...10:30 pm my mother and I went to the Pennfield Irving Restaurant for a meal. [..] The waitress just literally dropped the menus on the table instead of handing them to each of us. [..] She started to get our pop from the fountain and then got distracted and I literally got up and walked behind the counter and got our pop and she never even noticed. The table that was ahead of us made a comment about how that seemed to be the way to get anything. [..]

My mom and I were almost finished our meal and my pop was all gone so I had to get up and once again go behind the counter to get my own refill. [..]

Although I now live in the City, I just can not get over how poorly the restaurant seemed to be run. [..] At this present time I would not recommend anyone to eat there. [..] I feel that it is not entirely all the [..] waitress’ fault but the fault of management for not making sure staff knows how to waitress properly and not do a follow up to make sure things were done properly. [..] Unacceptable all around!

Excellent Food
My wife and I stopped at the Pennfield Irving and had lunch last week. This was our second trip to the restaurant recently and we enjoyed our meals both times. The servings were very generous and staff was courteous and prompt. If you are hungry and in the area I would recommend stopping in. Also try one of their pies for dessert, they're delicious.    [09 Dec 2006 13:30:49]
