I had my first Wheel pizza when I was a student at St. F. X. It has not changed after all these years :-) This is by far the best pizza I've ever eaten. [28 Jul 2003 11:54:12]

The best pizza around This is an amazing pizza. They have a nice sweet kind of crust, a delicious sauce, very tasty thin-sliced pepperoni and lots of delicious cheese. [28 Aug 2003 09:09:41]

The Wheel This is literally probably the best pizza and sub shop in the world. It's amazing. Everything's great, even the service.
10/10 for sure. [29 Feb 2004 16:30:01]

Best Donairs in the World Big beautiful steaming hot tasty portion of donair. I recommend the super donair - it has pepperoni and mozza cheese on top of lettuce, its patented sweet sauce - impossible to find anywhere else in the world, I swear. Spiced beef donair meat and a luscious pita bread - served open faced and drippy and satisying. All people from Antigonish know of its notoriety! [10 May 2004 00:57:28]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: donair and any pizza

Eat the steak sub Excellent place to eat, I can't believe there aren't any more reviews. Try the Steak sub, try the donair burgers or any pizza. World famous because its good. [28 May 2004 20:02:42]

The Wheel This little pizza shop located in the middle of Antigonish is the ultimate student hang-out. Even if you're not in the age category, give their distinct hometown pizza a try. Guaranteed to love it. [20 Jun 2004 22:45:36]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: slice of pep and cheese.

Wheel Ppzza Small shop with big character and coziness. Can still smell the fresh sub buns baking under Mike's watchful eye. Food is exceptional... this is not fine dining remember... but a great place to feed the family. Mike has given much to the communities of Antgonish and StFXU, most of which is unheralded and unpublicized.... just the way he wants it. While other restaurants skimp on the mozzerella, the Wheel never strays from the original ... just the way we like it. [02 Mar 2005 11:10:51]

Best pizza ever I would be suprised to find a better pizza - anywhere. This truly is the perfect in every sense. Thin delicious bottom crust with delicious hugh airy outer crust. A tasty sauce, thin sliced pepperoni generously portioned, lots of stringy mozza...ummm....I almost want to move back to Antigonish just to eat there. By far the best food I have ever eaten. I would choose this over Chinese, Indian, Ethiopian...anything. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. [19 Aug 2005 13:13:15]

Been around forever. I used to order from The Wheel all the time in late 70s/early 80s when I was at X, and my father said he ate there when he was at X, and it is still the best pizza and sub shop on the planet. [27 Feb 2007 19:30:28]
