Not for the Young Crowd. We were lost trying to find a good restauraunt in Halifax November 11th. After we went in, it was too late to turn back, so we said we'll try it. We felt out of place, with a lot older crowd. Everyone was looking at us differently, as if we shouldn't be there. We only figured out when we received the menu that the restaurant logo had babies on it. We finaly realized that it was a bar for babyboomers. We ordered the ClubHouse platter, and one friend ordered the cheersburger platter.
The clubhouse was stale, the turkey was dry and the coleslaw was way too small. One bite and it was gone. My friend could not even finish his cheesburger because it wasn't good. The hamburger patty didn't even hold together.
even the bellman at the hotel, when he asked us where we went to eat laughed at us when we said we went there. [15 Nov 2004 09:49:03]

Wonderful Place! Boomers Lounge is a wonderful place! Great atmosphere, wonderful and plesant servers! The food is your pub list of things but they are making up new stuff all the time! It is an older crowd sometimes but you feel welcome no matter what your age! [13 Jul 2006 10:04:29]

A great place to go This place has gone over many renovations. The food is the best pub food in the city. The drink prices are pretty hard too beat 3.50 a beer, 3.25 a shot WOW. DJ's Fri and Sat and starting in Feb Live entertainment on Sundays they told me. [26 Dec 2006 16:21:43]
