Very cute cafe, that makes great Italian ice cream. Lots of original favors and varieties. Kinda expensive for just ice cream, but worth it because it's home-made.    [23 May 2003 12:12:02]

Ice Cream that Dreams are Made of
Cute cafe, just a short walk off the beaten path, that offers an assortment of melt in your mouth flavors, you can either sit inside the cafe on a rainy day or take the short walk down to the public gardens to be near the water fountains for an almost tuscan feeling. When I get homesick for Halifax I always think of Dio Mio.    [31 Aug 2004 15:31:22]

Oh so good
Dio Mio is the real deal. This gelato is fantastic, and there are a zillion different flavours. Hard to recommend just one or two...the amaretto and limon are both great, though.    [07 Dec 2004 20:01:10]
