A Very Exceptional Restaurant at an Exceptional Price
This is one of the few restauarants in Halifax that I have returned to time and time again. Everything about this Italian/Mediterranean restaurant and bar is exceptional: the prices are refreshing, the decor is subtle, the service is friendly and the food is superb.

Perhaps the most appealing aspect of Ma'Fias is the size of their portions for the price. After eating at this restaurant four times and trying four different dishes, not a single order has disappointed. Their Tortellini Carbonara is a masterpiece; a giant plate of perfectly cooked pasta coupled with bacon and a tasty cream sauce.

Overall, Ma'Fias is one of the best bargains in Halifax for fine dining. Recommended highly.    [29 Jun 2001 19:39:23]
