Bad Food Bad Service -- Absolutely No Good
I typically love Dairy Queen, but not anymore, at least not in Sydney.

Tonight my sister and I went to Dairy Queen specifically to get Blizzards because Dairy Queen supposedly has a high quality product, with lots of selection. The ice cream was horrible. First off the cashier didn't appear to really know what she was doing. She took our order and then went on to the next customer, while no one made our order. Then I got mine and then when my sister was being served and they tipped it upside down, the ice cream fell out because it wasn't fully frozen.

We begin to eat the ice cream, but then stopped because it wasn't fully frozen and horribly mixed. Afterwards we were looking at the ice cream cakes and the drawings on them were very messy. As we were about to leave we overheard other customer with the same complaints about their ice creams so we took our ice cream back to ask for a refund. We were offered another blizzard, but we couldn't get our ice cream back. When they were serving the ice cream they knew it wasn't completely frozen so I am not sure why they were still serving it.

I would not recommend them at all the service was horrible as was the food.    [16 Apr 2003 20:34:50]

Looking for cake patterns brought me here...
and I agree sooooo much...DQ in Sydney is awful!!! I'm a fast food expert and the place on Grand Lake Road especially is terrible! Slow, food is not DQ standards, and if you use the drive thru the music is so loud you can't hear the person taking the order. Go anyplace else.    [16 May 2005 18:16:45]

Well lets see first off it is SOFT SERVE ice cream therefore it is not meant to be frozen. Second I am the only employee there that actually turns the blizzard upside down and I can tell you that I never had one fall out on me. Yes, we can be slow at speed from time to time but we are always high quality food and ice cream. If you are an expert mister "Anonymous" then show me you credentials. I am terribly sorry for the untrained girl on the cash register but she was probably new, we have recently had a few people leave for school and other things during the summer. Anyways I personally loved coming here before I started to work here and still do love coming here when I am not working. I am sorry for the bad experience you had Rochell.    [11 Sep 2007 16:17:16]
