Sydney's Finest Since opening its doors more than 20 years ago, Joe's Warehouse remains the finest dining experiance in Sydney. With its 'shabby-chic' decor and large collection of antiques and collectibles, it is an excellent place for a lovely romantic dinner for two, or a family get together with all the kids. With wonderful down-home hospitality, the staff service is warm and inviting.
Their specialty is steak and seafood, the seafood chowder is the best you'll get anywhere in Nova Scotia. The menu is good, a few too many cream sauces for my personal tastes. The lunch menu is excellent, very affordable and always delicious. The maple spinach salad is the most popular with patrons, and its easy to see why, loaded with cheddar and mozarella, bacon and green apple and just the right amount of maple dressing its excellent. During the summer time, their patio is very popular, an excellent place to bump into people and enjoy the summer sun.
On your way out, enjoy Joe's hidden gem, the front office lounge, a wonderful intimate space to enjoy a drink or two. [02 Feb 2004 16:53:23]
