Exceptional Dining in a Historic 1800 Building Great romantic getaway. Exceptional Chinese food in a historic 1800s buiding. Patio has a good view of boats passing through canal. [10 Dec 2002 16:26:43]

Great Chinese Cuisine The Cody Inn is one of Buckhorn's oldest and most familiar land marks. It has survived through several owners with various types of fare including Chinese food. The most recent owners of the Cody Inn have taken Chinese Cuisine in the entire area to new heights!
With a large selection of fine Chinese dishes there is something for everyone. I should mention that they also have a great selection of Canadian dishes as well.
All dishes and sauces are prepared from scratch using only fresh high quality ingredients. There is a large selection fish, pork, beef and chicken dishes each with their own unique flavour.
The homemade spring rolls are delicious, the lemon chicken is outstanding, the ginger beef is amazing!
It is definitely worth the drive or boating excursion to Buckhorn, you will not be disappointed, and you will keep coming back again and again. [24 May 2003 17:01:50]

Worth Visiting Absolutely excellent Chinese cuisine (although we did not try their Canadian cuisine). Lemon chicken is recommendable,as are their several other choices of Chinese delights, such as spiced pork, chicken Chow Mein and others. We will definitely return! [15 Aug 2004 17:42:27]

It's Worth the Drive to Buckhorn What's the worst thing that happens from mid. December unitl March you may ask? Well, besides the bitter cold and all the snow, the Cody Inn closes! The BEST CHINESE FOOD we've ever had the pleasure (and I do mean "pleasure") of eating. The Hot and Sour Soup is, as my girlfriend says, "to die for". In fact, we always take a LARGE container back to Toronto with us, for when we're going through withdrawal! When it's open, it's quite busy...so be sure to call ahead. [13 Apr 2006 15:05:02]

Our Favorite I agree that the worst thing in winter is the closure of the Cody Inn. We live in the area and this is our favorite restaurant. They're food is the best. Everything is made fresh when you order, so they are very accommodating with special requests. This isn't the same old Chinese food that you get at the buffet. They have some very unique dishes and also the regular things. [11 May 2007 11:09:49]
