A good, honest, small town bakery with a green twist. Holtom's sells organic coffee and gives a baker's dozen if you bring your own bag.    [22 Nov 2002 16:07:58]

The brown soda bread is absoloutely delicious! Everything in there smells and looks delicious, from their jams and jellies to their tarts and squares - and the selection of breads they offer is wonderful. They even have a sale table filled with breads and donuts. While I wouldn't want to stay there to eat (the atmosphere is wonderful for a quick hop in and to purchase something, but a bit dark to stay in to eat), the service is friendly and the place is clean. It's Worth The Drive To Erin.
Quite possibly one of the best 'old-style' bakeries left in Ontario. Everything is excellent; Chelsea buns are perfect and so are their hot crossed buns (in season). Old photos and calendars on the walls go back to the 40's. The service is always friendly. It's not really a place to 'dine', just a good honest bakery.    [06 Mar 2007 11:40:15]
