Best Turkey Dinner Ever. After waiting in line for nearly 2 hours on a very mild Fall Sunday we were finally led to a nice table near the window in the back. The place was packed with hungry families and it was bustling. The busy waitresses were very patient and polite and once our order was taken we were served a sumptuous meal within moments. I would say that it was the best turkey dinner I ever ate and I took ample portions home in a doggie bag. When I got the bill I was shocked - the prices were so low! And I even saved more with my Canadian exchange. It was a delightful experience and well worth the wait. We shall return, again and again. This is the best eatery in Fort Erie. A real gem of a find. Food a plenty I experienced Green Acres restaurant a few weeks back as our friends had raved about this place many times so we decided to join them for dinner and check it out for ourselves. Well, they were so right to brag as I was totally amazed by the amount of food that arrived at our table. What also caught my eye was that almost everyone left with a doggie bag. We will be going back for a family dinner in a couple weeks and we will definitely keep returning to this fine restaurant. It's worth the hour drive! [18 Aug 2004 14:03:10]

Hot Hamburger Heaven First time visit for 2 of us, party of 4. We all had the Hot Hamburger platter--2 huge not greasy square patties, cooked to perfection with ample sides of potato or spaghetti, coleslaw or mixed veg, a mound of caramelized onions, and bottomless cup of coffee for $7.60 Canadian. Service was quick and waitress was very friendly and professional. Atmosphere resembles a family dining room. Saw huge plates of beef, fish, turkey--what a place!!! [26 Mar 2006 23:09:15]

Green Acres Is The Place To Be. My family has been eating at Green Acres since it opened, and I have been eating there for 26 years now. It is a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious and so reasonably priced and the service is fantastic. Most people leave with a doggy bag because the portions are huge. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area. If you're going on a Saturday night, try making a reservation, as it gets really busy. [07 May 2006 15:24:19]
