Calling All Carnivores
Excellent steakhouse. First thing you'll see when you step through the doors is cooks working over an open grill. Then the wonderful smells will hit you, causing you to start drooling. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere (fireplace) and attentive service. Suitable for couples or groups.

If you're there on a date, you can't go wrong with the Carnivore Combo (just make sure your date's not a vegetarian!) - rack of lamb, steak and ahi tuna cooked to order plus choice of entree (e.g. steamed mussels), baked potato and veggies on side, and dessert. It's all to share, and comes to about $100 with taxes and tip.

Two minor flaws:

1. wait staff are a little intrusive when removing dishes from table - shouldn't interrupt conversation just to clear table.

2. undersides of tables need to be sanded down (ladies, watch your hose and skirts). Overall, very impressive restaurant in the middle of Markham.    [24 Nov 2003 09:38:35]

Wonderful Food and Atmosphere
Food was absolutely wonderful. Atmosphere very good - tables offer privacy. Decor very nice - Spanish flavour to the benches. Owner/maitre d' very welcoming. One wait staff a bit pushy; rest just great. Steak cooked just as ordered. Seafood lovely.    [17 Nov 2004 12:11:08]

Best in Town by Far
This is one of the most superior restaurants that I have had the privilege to eat at in quite a while.. From wonderful staff to great food, and the cocktails sure are superb. No complaints from me. The American ribeye is fantastic. Go in on an empty stomach, and you will leave there full - I promise. Make reservations; they fill up quickly. It is a small restaurant.    [20 Nov 2004 01:11:40]

Worst Resturant in Markham
The carnivor combo was nothing like these reviews. The tuna seem to have come from a grocery store package, the mussels had a rubbery texture. The services wasn't good at all. I had to ask for water 3 times before it arrived to my table. My dates dress was ruined because it got caught to the bottom of the tables, and the floor looks like it hasn't been sweped since the resturant opened.    [09 Sep 2005 15:35:07]

The Best Dam Steakhouse in The GTA....Bar None
My wife and I visited the Braised Bull for our anniversary. We were treated like Queen and King. The food was top notch and the service second to none. Try the chocolate cake for dessert!    [12 Sep 2005 21:50:58]
