The beers are good and the ales sweet. The fish and chips are worth having but pretty much everything else on the menu can go by the wayside. Great for late evenings or after theater drinks when there's not much else open in town.    [27 May 2003 15:28:29]

A Step Into The Past.
Beautiful place! Cozy and warm, I even spotted square nails in the wood support posts which made me think the construction is still original. Fascinating! Tried Wings, Fish & Chips and The ANGEL RED beer. All the food was superb and the Angel Red beer was the most unique and satisfying I've ever tasted. Will be booking a room for a couple days there soon. Great History around the building and location, and if you pick a good night, the live music is excellent as well.    [19 Feb 2007 14:30:10]
