McDonalds Goes Upscale.
It's McDonalds, what else can I tell you? However they completely demolished the old McDonalds right to the ground and built a new one. The ambience is likely among the best McDonalds in all of Canada. No kidding! The styling in the rest is very update, albeit typical McDonalds. The front counter, although attractive, is set up in a way that seem to make for long line ups. There is a childrens play area, that like wise is very up to date. The front wall of the restuarant lifts up to alow an 'open cafe' sort of feel that adjoins an outdoor seating area, but I have yet to see it ever opened up. It also features a dual drive through, and if you look in the second drive-through window, you can see their fancy robotic drink server. Too bad the food can't keep up with the restuarant - it is after all still a McDonalds    [17 Feb 2006 19:37:20]
