Awesome Spaghetti
Holy cow, this has to be the best spaghetti in the world. Awesome with beer, and the price is right, only $3 with a drink purchase. They have both vegetarian and meat sauces.    [06 Feb 2004 23:09:58]

Cozy, But Nice
Another hidden gem in downtown Ottawa, Alfie's has a feeling of authenticity that's missing from the Jiffy Pubs that are popping up all over the Byward Market.

The place is really small, but it's the sort of place where you can take a small handful of good friends, and enjoy an evening. The food covers the cheap/good spectrum, and the beer is commercial.    [17 Aug 2004 00:19:46]
