A Neo-Beat Paradise
Think live folksingers, think literary, art and architecture magazines and local artist photography and paintings, think Beat generation dark and basement like, no smoking, but 50 years ago there would have been, think "the only espresso in town that's made by someone who cares" and still costs only a buck, interesting sandwiches, brownies and cookies, homemade soups, a stairwell that's papered with local artist leaflets, and a guitar on a string that hangs by the stage near a sign that says "Play me."
