Delivery stinks
We ordered takeout (delivery) last night from the FG. First of all the FG is not very friendly when it came to taking our order. Second, when the food arrived it was virtually all terrible. The calamari was soggy and the gyro dinner was undercooked. The chicken souvlaki was good and surprisingly the greek salad was amazing. The other food items would have been good but they looked like food apps that had been sitting around for a couple of hours, albeit the food was still quite hot. In any event, we will not be ordering delivery from the FG again.    [28 Oct 2003 07:14:34]

Take Out Let-Down!
The wife and I were looking forward for some good Greek Cuisine. We dropped in for take out at the Pickering location. The order taker was pleasant. The order was without unreasonable delay. Got home, chicken souvalki, tasty, but cold (three pieces each), hardly anywhere worth half the price! Fries were cold and tasted like re-heats. Salad was fresh and crispy except for a couple of tomatoe slices which tasted a bit on the beyond the 'best before date'.
That's it though, no onion or cucumber or any other veg. in the salad, simply lettuce, tomatoes, some mushy olives (and I am an olive expert), and ample feta.

Overall, disappointment BIG TIME! Will not return to this location.    [31 Jan 2004 20:40:30]

Great food good prices.
I last visited for my birthday and everytime we've been to the pickering location Friendly Greek always exceeds our expectations! The staff very attentive and fast. The food is by far fresh and tasty and coming from a fellow greek I can vouch for its authenticity. The original flavour of the "old world" cuisine is a always consistant and tastes like home.    [08 May 2004 17:00:52]

Five Star for Us!
We have been dining at FG for a couple of years and we have yet to have a bad meal. Of course like everyone else we have the saganaki, followed by the Original greek salad (no lettuce). I love the sole with the lemon potatoes and Don usually has the calamari. Our lovely waitress always remembers us and seems to know exactly what we would like.
