Good Cheap Beer
Domestic bottled beer goes for $2.50 as long as there are no bands. When there's bands...the price goes up to....hmmm I think $350. Correct me if I'm wrong.    [03 May 2005 21:45:46]

Tourist Draw
This restaurant, the ole Kelly's... deserves a little punch in the gut for it's seemingly 'Phoenix-like' rising qualities.
Who would have ever thought that an entrepaneur(sp.?) of "RIDOUT and Christo's" fame would decide to settle in Port for his final hurrah?
I personally cried a sad tear when the Ridout in London was razed, but was absolutely thrilled to hear that the original wooden bar from that location was to be installed at the old Kelly's eatery!!!!! Whatta thought!
I recently searched for my carved initials on that bar-top when I attended an open-mike recently (verrrry-kool), but it would appear either my hacking was obliterated by some other drunk teen, or the section fell with the rubble. Dunno.
The food at Buccaneer is standard, and if you remember the old Ridout offerings, you won't be disappointed.
Nick ain't Theresa, but then again...
there isn't anybody that could do what she did for all those years. And pull it off, quality-wise.
Current Buccanneer buffet's pale in comparison to the food she struggled to give her patrons. But it's oaky.
Appreciated beyond her knowledge, she was the best of the best!
But, given todays preferences, and their location, The Buccaneer serves a great menu, for next to nothing (just like the "ole days").
