The crust shall surely Rise!
Well, I've said it before...
I like my crusted pizza! Other franchises have capitulated to my preference, and pumped it full of cheese and other stuff. That would make my "Godfather" experience all-the-more heaven-like.
Having said that, you can be guaranteed that their pizza has either remained good...or it got better over the years.
Living here for the best part of ten or twelve years, I've seen the rise and fall of the "Godfather"!
Hey, don't forget it's a franchise, right?
Sometimes we got meagre toppings, other times we ate a FAT pizza, for regular price! As a latent 'business person' in Port, I can relate to portion control.
Having said that, the current proprietors of Godfather seem to have it just right. Like Goldilocks with a penchant for pizza, one can order the crispy crusted pizza that comes from baking it on a conveyor. AND...
You can have your sub baked (a la Q****o's style) That's the cat's meow.
They are offering wings, haven't tried them yet, but will soon!
They have a great delivery, but should look into remote P.O.S for us that are not used to ordering more than what we can dig for and pay from our pockets!!!    [29 May 2005 19:25:47]
