Great View, Good Food
The best elegance is casual elegance. The relaxed demonstration of style and skill that makes excellence look easy. The Edgewater Manor has everything it needs to be a very good dining experience, if it wasn't so incredibly self-conscious about it. An enjoyable experience, nonetheless.
Menu, interesting and not too exotic. View, fabulous vista of Lake Ontario. Room, grand in the old-fashioned sense, complete with white linen.
Wine list, average.
