Want to eat with the rich and famous?
Was an absolute delight. Wine prices were great. Could not have asked for better service. Don't be surprised to see someone famous enjoying all this resaturant has to offer.    [12 Feb 2003 15:23:08]

Even though our group of 24 spent ~$3600 for a $5 steak & fries and some half decent wine - the payout did not promise courteous service nor value for one's dollar - even a few thousand of them!
Upon arriving we waited an extended period of time for far less than reasonable service. The limited menu (supposedly because of our large group) consisted of steak and fries or salmon. I should have gone with the salmon - fishy as it may have been. Few of us were given the choice of how well the steak was cooked. Many of them had seemingly more grissle than meat. Even the 'Keg' would have beat 990 hands down in comparison.
As our meal wound down so did the service. One of our party members kindly asked for a tea as the server brought around the coffee - the simple request was returned with the server rolling her eyes in minor disgust.
As for the good reviews we read prior to going here - we certainly did not share their experience.
