Hidden Gem
Longtime, established restaurant in the east end. Wonderful, tasty food on plentiful buffet. Also has a nice salad bar and a grill area with ribs, wings, etc.

Typical buffet includes roast beef and a second carved meat like ham or turkey. One or two potatoes (mashed and roast), gravies, chicken pot pie, veal paprikash, a seafood dish, rice pilaf, turkey stuffing, a couple of veggies, a cold salmon, lots on the salad bar including potato salad, ceasar salad, devilled eggs, cucumber/yogurt sald, cole slaw, a selection of cheeses and assorted breads and buns, etc. and lots of desserts like Nanaimo bars, chocolate eclairs, 2 or 3 different cakes, lemon merangue pie, 6 kinds of ice cream, etc.

Very pretty interior with lots of artwork and with pretty blue corner banquettes.
