A Nice Addition to the Eating Scene in Charlottetown

What Was that Waitress Thinking?
I have frequented The Gahan House many times and have loved every time.

I recently took a friend there for supper and was greatly disappointed in the service.

I had ordered a citrus style club sandwich. When the waitress placed my plate in front of me, I had noticed that my chicken did not have a citrus glaze on it nor did my sandwich have bacon or cheese. I brought it to the waitress's attention, thinking she would take my plate back into the kitchen and repair my meal. But no! 10 minutes later she comes from the kitchen with a plate that had my two strips of warm bacon and grated cheese. I didn't know if was customary at The Gahan House to dress your own sandwiches! I brought it to the manager's attention and he made no attempt to correct the situation or reimburse me for the poor service I received. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Great New Year's Night
A friendly and pleasant night of good dining hosted by responsive staff to a group of three persons December 31, 2003. Recorded music was a bit loud for our liking, but we adapted and could converse well enough. Love those appetizing chicken wings. Very good dining experience! We will go again!
