The Highlight of My Trip to Montreal
My companions ordered the steak and without a doubt it was the best they ever had. I had the tuna - absolutely wonderful. The martinis were served with class. The salad was exceptional. I would go to Montreal just to go to Gibbys. [19 Nov 2000 00:21:10]

Worth the Trip
We spent the afternoon in old Montreal, visiting the cathedral and other points of interest. We were looking for a place to have dinner, and were turned onto Gibbys by a local we picked up a conversation with. A real treat. Highlight of our time in the big city! Thanks Gibbys! One of the Best Dinners I Have Ever Had

The Best Restaurant in the Whole World
I have been dining at Gibby's for the past 13 years. We live in the States and dine there at least 3-4 times a year. All special occasions are celebrated at Gibbys!
The lamb is out of this world! They give you sorbet to cleanse the palate prior to the meal arriving. The restaurant and the staff are just 1st class. I do wish they would put the "Salmon Des Alais" (sp?) back on the menu. [08 Dec 2001 09:59:22]

Worth the Visit
Every time I go to Montreal I make sure I have a dinner at Gibbys. The food is first quality along with the service. I have tried a number of entrées such as the salmon, lamb and steak, all excellent. The chocolate suchard cake is a real treat if you like unsweetened chocolate. [07 Mar 2002 11:07:20]
