Tasty Spicy Food Yummy and delicious. Authentic Cajun cuisine, cooked right in front of your eyes. [02 Dec 1999 13:57:38]

Not All It's Cracked Up To Be.... The food is acceptably good for the price. I'm surprised they don't include a soup or salad with the entrees. If your waiter makes a mistake the type of Jambalaya you ordered, order something completely different because all they will do is reheat what they made for you and add more cajun spice just so it is unbearable to eat it after. Great Appetizers This restaurant has great appetizers, especially the sweet-potato fries and the shrimp.
I wasn't crazy about the chicken and the jambalaya meals, however, since I thought they lacked flavor. [30 Jul 2002 01:18:09]

Go Bananas! Had the crab cake meal, and it was quite good -- a little pricey for what you get but the place is clean with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The homemade salsa was quite delicious and appropriate for the cakes.
My friend had the steak she enjoyed it a lot. Not the best steak ever, but certainly a good deal and a nice size. No complaints.
Coooking done right in front of your eyes.
The mohito drink was quite good too.
Finish with a Banana Foster! SOOO yummy. Share with a friend if you must but I swear it'll make you smile. [08 Sep 2003 19:21:50]

Just the Best As an ex-Montrealer now living in Winnipeg, when in Montreal I always visit La Louisianne. They have a pasta dish to die for. With great big prawns, and a cross between a white and red sauce, with a little booze in it. Generous with the prawns. Service is delightful, and for those who haven't tried one, try a "sazerac," a delightful boubon drink. A taste of the Louisiana French Quarter in Montreal. Also tried and rated excellent: the swordfish steak, ribs, blackened tuna. Great ambiance. [18 Aug 2005 01:01:15]
