Food Is Franchise Worthy, Restaurant Is Not.
The food is what you expect from Bonanza. Decent steaks for a good price. The restaurant is not up to standards. Indifferent staff, paint peeling, bathrooms disgusting, and the place feels like it isn't properly cleaned. I don't recommend it at all.    [10 Sep 2003 01:21:07]

Yum Yum Salad Bar
I thought it was comfortable, and the wait staff was very friendly (keep in mind its not high class dining) But the salad bar makes for a full meal in itself. I found it quite enjoyable.    [30 Sep 2003 14:17:38]

Too Bad My Girl Friends Dad Likes the Place
I had never been to a Bonanza, until I recently moved to Saskatoon. I have to say, I don't like it. If it were not for my girlfriend's dad, I would have been saved from this dive of a place. It is only a good place to dine out for those who can't afford to eat out (but why are they eating out?), and those who are exceptionally cheap. If you like stuffing your face with bad food, I strongly urge you to try this place.    [28 Jan 2005 22:45:38]

It's Improved
The last time I went to Bonanza, the seats in the booths were covered in cracking vinyl and patched with duct tape, the carpets were filthy, the food was crummy and the staff looked like they would rather be just about anywhere else. During this most recent visit, I found a renovated and much improved restaurant. The seats and carpets have been replaced and it looks a lot cleaner. The staff are pleasant and attentive. The food is still nothing special (I had the salad bar) but it's not bad either. It's really popular with kids and seniors, which may be positive or negative for you.    [04 Oct 2005 13:48:28]

Does Not Want to Serve Customers
I went there at 8:10 on a Saturday night and was informed that I couldn't get a steak, but the salad bar was open. Not my idea of good service. I wasn't impressed.    [04 Nov 2006 22:13:39]
