Shikumen Bistro is situated in Xintiandi, an entertainment, international food and beverage and retail outlet in Shanghai’s business district. Shikumen is the literal translation of “old stone gate” which was the primary historical architecture of Xintiandi.

It offers Mediterranean-French cuisine, with a touch of Spanish and Italian. The food is prepared in an open kitchen that includes a wood-burning oven and mesquite grill. The atmosphere complements warm wood finishes and amber lighting, with an urban tone. On the top floor is a terrace called “The Veranda Café” with outdoor brunch on the weekends.
