You can choose seating either inside or outside under a covered patio and watch the foot traffic through Avarua and the sea beyond. Salads, fish chowder, sandwiches, full breakfast menu. Great Breakfast Spot

Warning for Coffee Lovers
Have been here several times over the years. Blue Note is good place to people watch, the food is good and the staff are friendly BUT the coffee is reliably really really bad! The last time I was there - maybe 2 months ago - it was badder than it's ever been. The coffee beans they use are grown in Atiu and whilst its mostly a great idea to support local produce - its nor a good idea in this instance. The coffee grown in Atiu has an offical rating of "not drinkable" (Austraila) so I dont know why they insist in using it. I hope Blue Note are sensible enough to take the feedback they get seriously and a) employ staff who really know how to make coffee and b) change coffee brand.
