The best
Of the 10 restaurants we went to this was the best. The food was divine as was the atmosphere and the service. The owner introduced herself and sat down and asked us where we were from, what we had done, any questions we had etc but she was over intrusive.    [23 Jan 2004 00:55:51]

good food . The owner goes through a whole song and dance about how great everything is and seems quite attentive. Our order got mixed up and resulted in us being unable to eat at the same time and waiting for my meal. Ironically, the owner avoided us like the plague from that point on. A Great Place
My wife and I were on the island for a couple of weeks and ate at the Portofino about 5 times. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent. Definitely try the garlic bread, the prawns, the fettucini, the pizzas, the steak, the fish, etc, etc. It was all great.    [03 Aug 2005 16:43:23]
