This restaurant really is Paphos's best kept secret, from the food to the fine wines this really is the best night you could have.

Everything on the menu is truly fantastic and finished off with fresh profiteroles and mars bar sauce you really will clean you plates!!!    [14 Oct 2005 09:10:59]

Metaxas - come back Tex we miss you
Sorry but I didn't find the new owner very helpful when I had a complaint about a dish. I ordered monk fish as it's my favourite, but what arrived on my plate was definitely not monk fish. The texture of the fish was more like cod and when I pointed this out to the owner he told me I was wrong. In fact he was quite dismissive. Whilst the food was well cooked and presented I won't be going back because of this guy's attitude. It's not the same since Tex left.    [17 Nov 2005 13:56:48]

We had to wait 3 hours for our main course and when it did finally arrive it was total rubbish. The waiter offered us 2 free rounds of drinks then put them on the bill and would not take them off. When we refused to pay for the drinks he called the police. We ended up having to pay the bill. Is this how you carry on? Its no wonder people don't want to holiday in Cyprus anymore!
